I Have A Diagnosis

Today was the follow up with my orthopedic doctor. The news is not good. I have severe spinal stenosis. According to the doctor, I will definitely need surgery in the near future for this. I really don't want surgery, but he feels therapy won't really do me any good. In order to do the surgery, I need to work on losing weight faster than I have been.

This news follows the news from last week about the necessary dental surgery. My head is spinning right now. It's a lot to process at one time.

I'm going to knit for a while and think.

Sorry to hear about the double whammy with your health. Good luck as you follow the doctor's orders and hope all is put to rights soon.

Sorry to hear the news :-(

Here are my thoughts - go for the dental surgery first. The pain will not be fun. However, you won't be able to eat much and that will help lose weight fast! You can then go on to have the back surgery.

I'm always trying to find the bright side! Hope it gave you a chuckle in the midst of the stress. You poor thing. Hugs to you.......

That is what I was diagnosised with too! I also refuse to have surgery.

PT has helped a lot. I'm also getting cortizone shots.
